A Champs-Elysées history :
In the XVIIth century, the Champs-Elysées were only a long walk rose in the centre of a non urbanized area, since, that the Notre was the landscapist of the Versailles castle, made plant in 1640 an rang of trees in the continuity of the Louvre and Tuilerie.
Its present tracing was finished in 1724, and prolonged the perspective of the Tuilerie garden. From 1828, the avenue was arranged by the Paris city which constructed the first pavements.
