From Louis XV to our days

During the Louis XVI reign, some plans are designed in view of the palace partial reconstruction. At the end of the former system, the palace will be the most luxurious royal residence of all the Europe
The books and medals will join the National Library, the clocks and scientific instruments, the school of the Arts and Professions. Furniture will be put to the auction. In 1830, the palace is practically intact but in hazard. Louis-Philippe, who wishes to avoid its destruction, decides to transform it in a museum dedicated "the all France glories."
