The Carolingians (751-987):

754 : Birth of the divine right royalty. Indeed Seed, his wife Berthe and his two sons Carloman and Charles are consecrated by the pope Etienne II.
755-756 : Seed leaves in expedition to Italy against the Lombard, the pope's enemies, and takes from them 22 cities
768 : End of the conquest of Aquitaine. Death of Seed the Brief. Kingdom is shared between its two sons: Charles and Carloman.
771 : Death of Carloman, Charles reunifies the kingdom
774 : Charlemagne invades Lombardy. He is consecrated as king of the Lombard.
778 : Expedition in Spain against the Saracens. To the return, the rearward is attacked in Roncevaux. (Song of Roland)
781 : Charlemagne names his young sons, Seed king of Lombardy and Louis king of Aquitaine.
785 : Saxony is submitted and is connected at the straightforward kingdom.
792 : Tentative of murder on Charlemagne of an illegitimate son, Seed the Hunchback. .
794 : Bavaria is annexed.
800 : December 25, the pope Leon III Charlemagne consecration, Roman emperor of west.
802 : Decree that obliges all free man to take oath
813 : Charlemagne names his son, Louis, emperor
814 : Death of Charlemagne in Aachen. His son Louis the Devout follows him.
817 : Ordinatio imperii of Louis the Picket that dictates his succession. His son is associated to the throne. .
819 : After his wife's death, Ermengarde, Louis marries Judith of Bavaria.
823 : Birth of the king's fourth son, the future Charles the Bald and makes him his Lothaire successor and unleash the anger of his other sons.
829 : Collected of Worms that gives to Lothaire Italy and to Charles Alsace, the Alamanie and a part of Burgundy
831 : Collected of Aachen that abolishes the imperial decree that made of the Lothaire successor of Emperor Louis.
833 : After a revolt of his eldest sons, Louis the Devout is deposited. Lothaire becomes emperor
835 : Louis the Germanic and Seed of Aquitaine form a league against their brother Lothaire and oblige it to flee in Italy. Louis the Devout recovers his emperor's rank
840 : Death of Louis the Devout in Mainz whereas he got ready to make the war to his son Louis the Germanic.
841 : Lothaire loses the battle of Fontenoy in Puisaye against his brothers Louis the Germanic and Charles.
842 : Oaths of alliance between Louis and Charles in Strasbourg in presence of their armies.
843 : Treaty Verdun where empire is shared between Lothaire (Lotharingie), Louis (Francia Orientalis) and Charles (Francia occidentalis).
845 : The Norman, after have go back up the Seine, seize Paris. Charles the Bald buys their departure
869 : Charles the Bald becomes king of Lotharingie
875 : Charles the Bald makes itself crown emperor by the pope.
877 : Before the growing power of the Lords of kingdom, Charles the Bald is forced to convene an assembly in Quierzy on Oise that recognizes the principle of the heredity of the loads. Death of Charles the Bald (poisoned?). His son, Louis II the Stutterer, follows him. Beginning of the Carolingian decadence.
879 : Death of Louis II the Stutterer
888 : Eudes, count of Paris, is elected king of Francia occidentalis.
893 : Other Lords elect King Charles III the simple (Carolingian heir).
898 : After his death, Eudes recognizes Charles III as successor.
911 : Charles III signs with the Norman French the agreement of Saint-Clear -sur-Epte that creates the dukedom Normandy and puts an end to the invasions
923 : BBattle in Soissons enters the army of Charles III and the one of Robert 1st, proclaimed king in the year 922. Robert is killed but Charles III must beat a retreat. Raoul, duke of Burgundy is elected king.
929 : Charles III dies in captivity
936 : Death of Raoul. The big, to the instigation of Hugues the Big, name King Louis IV of ultramarine (son of Charles III, he was sheltered in England).
954 : Death of Louis IV. His son, Lothaire follows him.
986 : Death of Lothaire. His son Louis V becomes the last Carolingian king.
987 : To the accidental death of Louis V that doesn't have son, Hugues Capet, son of Hugues the big, makes itself elect king in the assembly of Senlis.
